I LOVE spring time! 

My sister and I went over to a nearby park to take some pictures! It was perfect outside!

In book The Confident You book, Barbara Barrington Jones talks about how everyones style fits

 into a category. I am evenly tied with Classic and feminine, which is why I love to wear flowers!

Flowers and neutral colors draw me in...I know I am kinda boring not wearing more bright colors. 

That is why I am going to work on stepping out of my comfort zone. The other day I realized how much I LOVE the color yellow and how I don't have any in my closet. I have no orange either and barely red. 

SAD right???

Ya that's what I thought!!

So I decided the next thing I buy better be one of those colors!

 I bought yellow nail polish today, but I doubt that counts, however I can't WAIT to wear it in the summer!!

Heart Inspiration

I don't think I ever told you why I named my blog heart2heart

I want to inspire others to open their HEART

to focus on others and to live a happier life

When I see a shape of a HEART
it speaks to me.
It tells me their is beauty all around and
I just have to be on the lookout for it
Everyone has a different shaped heart but all I have to focus on
is the state of my heart on a day to day basis

My heart is FULL of jewels {dreams to be exact}

but in reality my dreams will come true if I am focusing on the hearts of everyone else in this world

A heart tells me I can stand on my feet 

and accomplish anything I can possibly dream of, as long as I am 

feeding my SOUL with love, patience and understanding

The shape of my HEART tells me I can walk up and down through life

blessing others and helping ever person I come in contact with that day to really feel that they are LOVED

It tells me that even though there are so many grains of sand in the world, that I still matter

and I still can chose to open my heart and be a little kinder and slower to anger

Music inspires my little heart 

to be a better person and gives me the desire to help others more often

April is CHILD ABUSE AWARENESS MONTH

I got to be involved and go tie 1,400 ribbons on trees at Murray City Hall

it was shocking to me knowing that just in 2010, 1,400 children had been 

reported being abused just in Murray ALONE 

It makes me SO SAD to think about each one of these children!

Every 13 seconds a child is being abused

Every day in the U.S. 3 children die from child abuse in the home

If you get a minute please PRAY for these abused children

and keep spreading awareness!!

You know the one where you put baby powder in your hair

 to make the grease dissapear and last one more day without washing it! 

PROBLEM for some: If you have brown hair like I do, white powder

does NOT look so attractive.

It makes your hair appear

 like you just came in from a snow storm or

PERHAPS like you have dandruff.

SOLUTION:  A beige Mineral/loose powder foundation

 I used Beige 2 mineral Powder and it worked like a CHARM

All you do is pick up a little with your fingers and rub/scrunch it through your hair

then comb away. SO BRILLANT

Let me tell you a little bit about each one!!!

1) 3-in-1 cleanser it Cleanses, freshens, and moisturizes and I use it morning & night

If we are going to be BLOGGY BFF'S then
I should let you on in a little secret I have...
I am a girl that loves to compare ADMIRE other GIRLS
I always wondered what those "popular" girls
had that I was lacking

In high school I always had a few girls in mind that
I would LOOK UP TO

 This week I discovered an INCREDBIBLE blog with an incredible purpose - The Shine Project 

She has a weekly challenge that gets you to do nice things for others...LOVE IT!

So this week I sent the sweetest message to a girl who
just competed in Utah's Distingushed Young Woman!

I felt that she really deserved
MANY compliments after the REMARKABLE things
she had done and worked for and the
